Why is it that my iPhone 6 can not get iOS 13 or 14

iOS 13 and iPadOS are compatible with these devices

The non-technical answer........the iPhone 6 is too old and lacks the horsepower needed to run newer iOS versions.

iOS 13 and iOS 14 are no longer available.

Even if the iPhone 6 could run iOS 15.....(it can't).....everything would run in ultra slow motion and the battery would run down after an hour or so.

You will need an iPhone 8 or higher to run iOS 16.

It lacks the necessary hardware to update past iOS 12.
