I have my iPhone 13 and I tried testing this feature to track my iPhone even if it's switched off. I gave my iPhone to my brother while it's switched off. Bluetooth and WIFI both turned on. My brother has the same iPhone 13 with Find my network turned on and Internet connection on. He jumped on a metro and travelled a lot but I wasn't able to see my phone's location updating in FindMyApp. Why it isn't working?

Sadly iCloud website and FindMyApp shows different locations and not updating in website.

It is really bad How can someone track their lost iPhone if the user don't have a Mac or other iPhone to sign in? The user can't use the web and see the last updated location. LOL
You are correct, but a lot of conditions must be met for it to work and in my experience, it rarely, if ever does.

I just tried today again by turning find my network off and turn on again and then tested it. It worked!
Because if the phone is completely powered off, it can't be tracked.
But it says “iPhone is findable after power off”
I have already checked on this one and all conditions are satisfied

The sad reality is no matter what one can or can't do, the vast majority of lost or stolen devices will NEVER be accurately found.
