iCloud Notes loss

I've somehow recently lost some very important notes on my phone. However, when I log in to my iCloud email online, I can see the said notes but I can't access them. I am greeted with this message: "Can't View Note

This note uses a locking method supported only in Notes for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. To view locked notes in Notes for iCloud.com, switch to using a custom password on one of those devices". I know the password but it's not even giving me the option to enter it.

The notes are out there I just can't work out how to re-access them. I need them desparately.

Any help would massively apreciated!
