Hey there, AnneG_1026,
Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities. We understand that you have some concerns about the Apple ID emails you're receiving and we can definitely help try and shed some light on what might be going on.
One of the things that we recommend keeping an eye out is for a type of scam known as "phishing". Phishing refers to attempts, often via email, to extract some type of personal information from you such as your username and password combination or even bank details. There is a really good resource here which goes over phishing attempts in detail and can help you identify whether or not those emails are possibly an attempt at phishing: Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support
The first and most important step is going to be changing your Apple ID password by following the steps here: Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support. This will ensure that if anyone did gain unauthorized access to your account, they will no longer have that access after you update your password.
If you do believe that someone may have gained access to your Apple ID, you can also follow the rest of the steps in this article: If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support. That is going to be the best way to make sure that going forward, nobody has access to your Apple ID and the associated data.
We hope that this information is helpful.
Have a great day!
