Series 8 watch burn
About two weeks ago, while flying home from Florida, I noticed an irritation on my wrist, where I wear my Apple Watch. At first it was just a red area, then it blistered, it gradually dried out, and now the skin is peeling. It looks like I will be left with a faint scar. I have not worn my watch since I first noticed the irritation. I can still see that the area of skin that contacts the sensors has a different texture. I am wondering if it is actually safe to wear these watches- is our skin being irradiated. I have a friend who woke up in pain one morning and found he had a burn mark under his watch. What is going on?
