Hello! I’m posting on here to hopefully get some insight on something i recently encountered. On my Logic Pro project, there is a large delay from when i hit a key on my midi keyboard, to when it plays the software instrument. Even when i press the key with my mouse in the piano roll menu. I have the I/O buffer size on 32 which is very low. I’ve only encountered this issue on one project. I mean, it is a decently big project. Any ideas?
If you already work with a small buffer size, it's mostly an issue with certain plugins that add latency to the project, like pitch or specialized sound-design plugins. You can record with Low Latency Mode enabled. You have to switch off Low Latency Mode for playback.
