I wanna connect ma HomePod to a new wifi but it won’t let me

If you connect your iOS device to the new WiFi network before you move the HomePod then it may be able to get the new network's setting via iCloud keychain. Otherwise your options are to give the new network the same SSID and password as the old network, or see Reset HomePod or HomePod mini - Apple Support and reset the device.

Hi Jamisije,

Your HomePod connects to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS or iPadOS, so you'll need to change the Wi-Fi on your device to change the Wi-Fi on your HomePod. Follow these steps on the device that you use to manage your HomePod:

1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Connect to the Wi-Fi network you want to join. You will see a blue checkmark next to the Wi-Fi network when it has successfully connected.
3. Open the Home app and tap your HomePod.
4. Scroll down and tap Settings.
5. Scroll down to Wi-Fi network, you should see the Wi-Fi network you just joined.
