Need help setting up Apple TV app on LG TV

- First create an Apple ID account, if you do not have one yet. The Apple TV app on smart TVs and third party streaming devices should guide you through that process. It may involve also visiting an Apple website as indicated. How to create a new Apple ID - Apple Support. Your Apple ID account should have all the user information as asked, including name, DoB, country (state), a verified email address (respond to test message), and a valid payment method. Any subscription requires that the payment method supports automatic and periodical charges. Any edits on the account, if needed, can be done through the account website: Manage your Apple ID - Apple.
- The next step is installing the Apple TV app. For select modern LG TVs (roughly: 4K models 2016 or later), the app would be available in the LG Content Store on the TV. For Fire TV devices, the Apple TV app would be available from the Amazon Apps & Games Store. - Then open the Apple TV app, and sign in to the app through the in-app settings (sprockets wheel icon), using the Apple ID account as will be used for this user. On LG TV, the Apple TV app supports in-app purchases (buy, rent, or subscribe). On Fire TV devices, in-app transactions are unfortunately not supported at this time. However, any transactions done on other devices also makes content available on Fire TV, through the matching account used.

To buy or rent movies from the iTunes Store, or to subscribe to other in-app channels, please use the Apple TV app on LG TV, or on an Apple device, or on other supported devices (with system software not based on Android).
