Help Sim card does not fit into tray for iPhone XR

I recently got an iPhone XR. I bought a Sim card for it and cannot get it to fit into the tray to be inserted correctly. What do I do? Please and thank you.

Hello,

Assuming that you've bought the standard nano-Sim for the iPhone, it should work. See this:

Remove or switch the SIM card in your iPhone - Apple Support

Otherwise check the packaging the for SIM card.
