I have an iPhone and my Face ID has been disabled

I have an iphone16.3.1 and my Face ID has been disabled. Is there another way to unlock my iPhone other than my password? Such as a finger print recognition?

You have an iPhone that is FaceID capable and therefore it does not have a home button or a fingerprint sensor. You have stated that FaceID has been disabled on your iPhone. The only option left is to enter the passcode to unlock the iPhone.

Have you tried the instructions in this guide published by Apple 👉 If an alert says Face ID has been disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support?

As of April 26th, 2023. It seems to have worked with the latest iPhone update. I started noticing this problem a few weeks ago and thought I was going to have to take my phone in for a repair. And then it started working the past few days. I did have to delete a few apps and reinstall them to properly set up the facial ID recognition again, but then rhose apps worked appropriately. And it’s nice to be able to Face ID my phone when I need quick access to all of my screens. Doing more research online, I see the face ID glitch has been a known wit various users since at least 2018(?)
