not updating to MacOs 13.3.1 (Ventura) from external Boot drive

Hi, community!

I Try to update my iMac from 13.3 to 13.3.1 but it is not possible.(from my external bootdrive)

(The internal ssd also has macOS on it and does the update smooth.)

The links helps people with their Home Dir on the external drive but in my caseI have the whole OS starting up from the external ssd (Bootdrive via Thunderbolt)

Help is needed en appreciated !
