Imac 24, 2021, black lines screen flickering

I was watching Youtube today, and some black lines suddenly flickered on my screen and pulsated. I reported the issue to Apple as a support case. After running the Apple Diagnosis, no hardware problem was checked out. Following the guide of the advisor of Apple Support, I updated the macOS and restarted, but the black lines screen flickering was still there. My one-year warranty passed, and I really do not want to go to an Apple store to check and repair it. It may spent a lot of time and money. I know there is Flexgate Issue with MacBook Pro (2016)Display, I do not think Imac has it. What I should do? Thank you.

This sounds to me like a hardware issue.

I understand your reluctance to have to make a trip to the Apple Store, but I do believe that would be a good choice.

And, fwiw, "Flexgate" refers specifically to damage done to the video/display cable that runs through the hinge area of certain Mac laptop computers. You are correct that your iMac does not have that issue.
