Adding Matter Accessory to Apple Homekit

Just started setting up my Apple Home kit with a Philips Hue Bridge in its Matter developer beta version last week. The connection between my ikea light bulbs, Hue Bridge and Apple Home Kit worked perfectly when I was using an iPad as Home Hub, including the setup flow pairing.

However, all the lights were not responding when I changed to using Apple TV 4K and pair of Home Pods (2nd Generation) as Home Hub tonight (Not sure if that's the reason). I have unlinked and attempted to re-add the bridge hub through Matter, but now it just keeps showing "Connecting to Accessory... This may take a few minutes", and nothing showing afterwards just keep loading.

The software of the Hue bridge is 1.56.1956178040; I’m using the Hue App (Version 4.39.0) on an iPhone (IOS 16.4).

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your HomeKit accessories are not working properly with your Home Hub and Matter. Because beta software can experience unexpected behavior in an active environment, it would be best to use supported software to rule out that this could be the source of the issue.

There is no „supported“ software with this, the matter feature is still in beta development (if i am not mistaken on both sides, apple home and hue) and it was working fine until about two weeks ago.

I have a similar setup and similar problem. I‘ve got several IKEA TRADFRI lamps connected to a hue bridge & they worked perfectly fine with the matter beta but then suddenly stopped responding. After a few days of trial and error, I removed the hue bridge from my home Accessoires but I can not add it again. I can still pair the hue bridge via the regular apple homekit support but that does not include lamps.

Edit:

I am on Hue software version 1.57.1957200040, iOS 16.4.1 / 20E252 as well as iPadOS 16.5 / 20F5039e. I have not yet tried to re-pair the bridge with my development iPhone on 16.5.
