Emptying trash bug
When I empty trash, the popup "emptying trash" remains open forever. It happens also if the trash contains a small amount of elements. Does someone know how can I fix it?

It doesn't actually matter what was in the trash. The problem appears both if there is only an empty folder or a single file and a lot of biles.
I have a time machine backup but it is not on my macbook. I keep it on another drive, which at the moment is not connected to my mac.
(The bug happens on a M2 MacBook Air running MacOS Ventura 13.3).
On my M2 MBA running Venture 13 .3 and on M1 Mac Mini also running Ventura 13.3 and Tested.
When I place a files or files into the Trash and attempt to Empty the Trash, presto and voila - gone in less than 0.25 seconds.
Now, If attempt to Prune a Snap Shot created by Time Machine Backup and housed on the External Drive - the forever attempting to Empty Trash will occur
Perhaps below method may or may not allow the User to Empty the Trash
1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.
2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading. It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance
3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?
4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.
What exactly was placed in to Trash ?
Was the user attempting to Delete Snap Shots created from and housed on the Time Machine Backup Drive ?
Reliable , accurate, details / context will really help to pinpoint a possible solution.
