15.7..4 IOS Update

I’m using iPhone 7 Plus with its current software version of 14.4. If I update the IOS to 15.7.4, what guarantee does the new version to work on this model? I remember when I made an update to its now 14.4 IOS, some functions don’t work or removed.

iOS 16.6.2 update still shows 16.6.1 version after updating This morning I updated my iPhone 14 Pro (and my wife's iPhone 14) to iOS 16.6.2 (it was released yesterday). The update installed without a hitch, however, when I check the current version of my iOS, it still indicates 16.6.1 as the installed version. If I do software update, it says I have the latest iOS. Anyone else having this issue?

All apps/docs/data supported by iOS version 15.7.4 will work.

Bear in mind that that's a recommended update because it contains important security patches.
