Iphone 7 Plus ios 15.7.4 crashed during install & forced a restore, then would not backup from a recent month old backup

My most recent backup on my iphone 7 plus was dated Feb 7. While tethering the phone to the windows 11 pc on April 2 to conduct an updated backup, I was prompted in itunes to update the software to 15.7.4. I did so as many times in the past expecting no issue. Let the update finish and then carry on with my backup. What happened was a complete disaster. The 15.7.4 did not install, it crashed. The phone went into restore to factory default mode. The phone eventually returned to the restored mode where you chose USA, English, etc. and all of my data was wiped. I then tethered the phone to itunes to try and restore from the Feb 7 backup and it would not. I am now stuck with a wiped iphone 7 plus with no data.
