Magic Keyboard with Touch ID not working.

I have just bought an apple Magic Keyboard with touch ID, the problem is that the touch ID doesn’t work as it should, whenever it gives me the option to use my finger, it doesn’t respond, I followed the instructions advised by apple, it just solve the problem for a short time then the problem come again.


the fastest solution is to turn off and on the bluetooth, which solves the problem, but its not practical


I am using latest macOS on mac Mini M2

Hmmm...



Try deleting all the finger prints

Turn off the keyboard

plug the keyboard in using the charging cord

turn on the keyboard and set it up new finger prints... compare your results
