iPhone disconnects then reconnects endlessly while on charger

Hello!

about five months ago I bought a 35 W dual USB-C charger from the Apple website, and it worked great until about a week ago. When I plugged in my phone, it would just disconnect then reconnect endlessly. I tried it on a different power and alternator and it works fine. The odd thing is that if I try charging a different iPhone with the same cable and power adapter that is not working on my phone, it charges completely fine. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening?
