How do I make my computer stop prompting me to enable/try the 'phone as a camera' feature? This is insane.
I do not want to use my phone as a camera. How do I make it stop prompting me every few minutes to few hours?

Does this not work?
"To prevent your Mac from recognizing your iPhone as a camera or
microphone, even when your iPhone is plugged in and mounted, you can
turn off Continuity Camera:

What is it you are doing when it prompts you...?
Is your Facetime active? Try quitting Facetime, Sign out of Facetime and compare your results...

I just noticed you changed your original post. My answer was in response to your original post. There was nothing about "Desk View" originally.
I'll let someone else respond.
I want to permanently stop being prompted to use Desk View, instead of having to disable it time after time after time. I am not even permitted to quit the app: quit is dimmed. Continuity Camera is disabled on my phone.
I never want to see Desk View again until I decide to enable it. How do I accomplish this?
On my computer just using it, it prompts me to enable the feature on my phone without the option to permanently dismiss.
It shows as disabled on the iPhone
Try enabling then disabling it again. I'm not the best at iPhone issues.
