I recently purchased a 13" Macbook Pro to replace my old iMac. How do I transfer my itunes from the iMac to the Macbook Pro?

If it's possible to transfer the entire library, is it possible to do the transfer without "plugging in" a device to make the sync option appear? thanks for your response. It was most helpful and I wa able to get all of my itunes music transferred to the new laptop.
