i’ve been trying to update my iphone 12 for the past 3 days, it has 5 GB storage available for the the update but when i want to update my phone it says i don’t have enough storage

You need about 6 GB device storage and good Service and/or Wi-Fi.
If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.
Charge the battery > 70%.
