Wi-Fi connectivity

My iPad will connect to my work Wi-Fi just fine. My iPhone won’t. I went into my phones Wi-Fi setting to make sure it had the same info as my iPad does for the Wi-Fi network, but my iPhone still won’t connect. Tried re booting everything, still no go. Older iPad, iPhone SE2

If your iPad can connect to your work Wi-Fi but your iPhone can't, there are a few things you can try ...


  1. If you don't see the network, try restarting your iPhone and see if it appears.
  2. Forget the network and reconnect: Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and find the network you are trying to connect to. Tap the "i" icon next to the network and then tap "Forget This Network." Once you've done this, try reconnecting to the network again by selecting it from the list of available networks.
  3. Reset network settings: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all of your iPhone's network settings to their default values, so you'll need to re-enter any Wi-Fi passwords after doing this.
  4. Update your iPhone: Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check if there are any updates available.
  5. Try connecting from a different location: If possible, try connecting to the same Wi-Fi network from a different location to see if the issue is specific to your iPhone or to the network itself.
