Hello. Is there any way to message someone who lives in a different country and doesnt have an iPhone? And is that free?
i tried sending messages to his e-mail or adding his phone number but either i dont see/ cant respond to his messages or he doesnt see/ cant respond to mine.

Since the other person does not have an Apple device, it would have to be done with your data plan. Ask your carrier about international services. There may be something which they have to activate and you may potentially have to pay more for the service.
Have you considered email instead? There are also various free services which offer messaging over the Internet on multiple kinds of devices such as Android and iPhones. You'll just have to use that app to get their messages, not Apple's Messages app.
