I have a recurring problem that emails I prepare or attempt to forward to my icloud mail box on my iPad go to the "Sent" box, but they do not go directly to the "In" box. I then have to manually move the messages to the In box. How can I can I get the sent messages to go directly to the In box, as well as the Sent box? Thanks.

Customizing the settings in the Mail app may help you get the result you're looking for:
Go to Settings> Mail, then turn on Organize by Thread (below Threading).
Tip: You can also change other settings in Settings > Mail—such as Collapse Read Messages or Most Recent Message on Top.
