Camera app showing a photo that isn’t mine in recent spot

why is the camera app showing a photo that isn't mine in the corner where the recent is displayed. It was never in my camera roll and when I click on it from the camera app it just brings me to my camera roll and it’s not there. It is only displayed on the camera app in the corner and i dont know how it got there or where it came from.

Greetings jaidyn261,

If you see an unfamiliar image in your Camera preview, start by ensuring that your iOS is fully updated. Updates can often help resolve unexpected behaviors: Update your iPhone or iPad

Also, be sure to Restart your iPhone, as this too can help.

If the photo is still incorrect, check your Photos app to see if you are able to locate the image.

We hope this helps!

Sincerely.

The photo wasn’t in the photo app. This occurred in the past so it is gone now, I was just hoping to get an answer as to how it appeared there, with concerns that I was hacked or something. The photo was only displayed in the preview in the camera app and wouldn’t show when it was clicked on to transfer to the photos app. It was weird circumstances so I just wanted to know if this could be explained as to how it got there. It was an image of another person with their social media display covering explicit parts.
