My Time Machine disc is plug into my iMac 24 but it is not being recognized in the migration assistant

iMac 24″, macOS 13.0

Thank you for the response. I solve the issue by doing Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt for the transfer.

Migration Assistant not working. I am trying to migrate my data from my old MBP to my iMac, and whenever I open Migration assistant, press continue and put in my password, it says "Logging out failed" and then shows the sign-in screen a few seconds later.
