MagSafe battery Lock Screen widget not working

Can’t get the MagSafe battery widget to show the battery level on the Lock Screen widget. I can see it on the Home Screen widget just fine and it shows up in settings, but the Lock Screen one seems to be inactive. How can I fix this?

Can't add Battery widget to iPhone 14 Pro lock screen To add the Battery widget to my iPhone 14 Pro lock screen, I try the following: On the Lock Screen, click Customize, then select Lock Screen. Click the widget box to display Add Widgets. Click Batteries. In the Batteries window, there are only options for my Apple Watch. There appears to be no option to choose my iPhone. I know that there is a small indicator of battery level in the upper right of the Lock Screen, but I'd like a larger display for the battery if possible.

I got the same problem with the iphone 13. Running ios 16.4.1

also read another discussion with someone having the same problem aswell. Couldn’t find a solution :(
