how do i permanently remove VPN from my iphone?
As vpn interferes with wifi and certain apps, I would like to stop it reloading and reactivateing.

If you did not download and install a VPN app, then you do not have VPN activated. If you downloaded and installed a VPN app then delete it from your iPhone. That action will deactivate the VPN setup.
Finally, open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ VPN & Device Management: Here, you can turn OFF any VPN setups if it exists.
