Chronic Finder Crash - Ventura Bug?

Using Ventura 13 on new iMac (M1) and Macbook Pro (M2) networked together. I constantly get pinwheel of death when using Finder. Force quit results in desktop not being reconstructed so have to do a restart. This is extremely frustrating and an issue not encountered with other Macs over the past 10+ years. Something is amiss...

iMac 24″, macOS 13.1

Malware - Malware detected.

I will look at the rest of the report, but this needs immediate action.

Malware:

Launchd: ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.appicon.AppIcon.plist

Executable: ~/Library/Application Support/AppPolicy/AppIcon -i -c 453483 -isn 48546623-38AE-40F3-ADD4-CBF6DB6433C6

Reason: Malware pattern match

Restart in Safe Mode.

In Finder, press Command-Shift-G and paste

~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.appicon.AppIcon.plist

Drag the file to the trash.

Repeat with

~/Library/Application Support/AppPolicy/AppIcon

Empty the trash, restart your mac normally again, and post a new report.

This is apparently still there:

Malware:

Launchd: ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.onlineapplicationnotice.AppNotice.plist

Executable: ~/Library/Application Support/AppCommon/AppNotice

Reason: Malware name match

Oh... and this:

System Extensions:

[Removed after restart] Avast Antivirus Network Extension - version 10.2.256 (AVAST Software a.s. - 2023-02-10)

Application: /Applications/Avast.app - version 10.2.256 (Not found!)

It seems that you did not restart your mac after deleting those?
