Share my location internationally
Does Share My Location work for people who live overseas? If I’m in one country and they are in another, does the feature still work the same or are there additional data charges?

In Family Sharing, you'll need to be in the same country/region for all features to work seamlessly. However, you can use the Find My app to share your location with friends and family members. Since these features use data services, they will not incur long distance charges. The only time you may be charged is if you are in an area that is roaming. For more information on your coverage and roaming, you'll want to reach out to your wireless provider. They'll be able to provide you with more details of what your wireless plan covers.
