I have an XSMax and iPhone 14. Why XS Max uses 10.36GB for Data storage and the iPhone 14 uses 250GB. Both are 256GB capacity. There is no room on my iPhone 14 for anything. Why is this happening?

How is it possible that System Data storage is using so much on my iPhone 14 in comparison to the XS Max?

Undoubtedly you have not used these two iPhones in an identical manner. Therefore you should not expect them to behave identically.
