i-Phone 12 won't let me record new voicemail greeting

I keep trying to change my voicemail greeting but am getting an error every time I try to save it. My name recently changed so I really want to get it set up. I can't seem to find any tips or help online, I'm hoping someone here can help.

*I originally set up the existing voicemail greeting when I had my old i-Phone 11; I haven't attempted to record a greeting since getting the 12.
