Unable to use keyboard on MacOS desktop after resetting

after I reset my IMac 2017 I am having trouble reinstalling the OS. My keyboard and mouse are not connecting

Mouse & keyboard not working on iMac (2017) after macOS Monterey 12 update Good day! I have a 2017 iMac which was updated to macOS Monterey 12 recently. After restart, the computer booted up with Apple Logo and progress bar showing to full extent, however it is now stuck on the login page. The reason being that NEITHER mouse nor keyboard (wireless) are responding. The Wireless signal is showing 5 bars, and the computer is reading the time correctly. I have rebooted it many times and disconnected all peripherals. I have restarted it in SAFE MODE and in INTERNET RECOVERY MODE. None of this has fixed the problem. I would greatly appreciate any further suggestion to solve this issue. Thank you very much.

iMac is not allowing wireless keyboard and wireless mouse to connect have an Imac that wont allow the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse to connect! it stall's at the request screen to connect to both but both are on!!! Will not boot to OS. Can I use a wired keyboard and wired mouse to allow th OS to start?? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
