location of downloaded movies
when I download a movie I have purchased from the iTunes store where does it reside

Unless manually moved, they should be in Users/[user name]/Movies/Media/Movies/[Name of Movie].
. If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.
