Can I remove an old iPhoto Library (migrated to Photos) from my hard drive without impacting /losing items in Photos?

Iphoto libraries I have several hard drives with iPhoto libraries on them. I'm sure there are tons of duplicate photos. How do I put all of these libraries together into just one? How do I get rid of the duplicates? Thank you.

Yes. Note that it won't free up nearly as much space as it appears; the media files are hardlinked.
