Apple Music version 1.2.5.7 unable to remove grey stars rating

Your screenshot shows grey track autoratings derived from manual album ratings.

Script Editor is found in /Applications/Utilities/ on your Mac. You want to copy the second block of text which is the ClearTrackAutoRating script, paste it into a new empty document in Script Editor, select some tracks in Music, and then click the Run/Play button in Script Editor and follow the prompts. Assuming you are happy with the outcome select all the tracks with unwanted track autoratings, or all tracks, and run the script again. Manually rated tracks are left alone.

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. Sounds like you want to turn ratings off on hte Music app on your Mac. Try following the guide and steps below to turn those off.

1. Go into 'Get Info' for a song or album
2. Hold control and slide the stars all the way to the left, so that there are no stars.

Got it, thanks. You should be able to remove those gray stars by clicking the Albums view in the Library section of the sidebar in the Music app. Then find and click the album in question, which should expand it. Near the album art, you should see five stars. If you click and drag those to the left, it should remove the gray stars.
