The method to use depends upon which type of document—Page Layout or Word Processing—you have created.
If it is a Page Layout document, each Page is a separate section, and you will be able to select a Page by clicking its thumbnail image in the let sidebar. Moving one page in this document type requires only selecting the thumbnail of that page, then dragging it to the new position and dropping it into the new position.
Deleting a page in this type of document is even simpler: Click the thumbnail of the page you want to delete to select it, then press the delete key. Done.
BUT unless you have used a template that constructs a Page Layout Document or have converted a word processing document to a Page Layout one, it is more likely that your document is a Word Processing document.
Identifying properties:
In a Word Processing document, pages are added automatically as they are needed to accommodate the text in the main stream of text in the document. Unless you have created Sections, the whole document is in ONE section, and using the deletion process above would delete 'only ONE SECTION,' but that one section would contain the entire document. Oops!
To delete a page in a Word processing, Select the text (and any objects) on that page, then press Delete. The text on the pages below that page will move up to fill the emptied space. Other objects on the pages below will move only if they have been pinned to a specific location in the text. If they have been pinned to stay on page, they will likely stay on the page where they had been placed, while text on that page flows up to fill the empty space above.
Cautionary note: Although you should be able to restore the document to its state before the deletion, you might want to make a duplicate of the document prior to doing the deletions.
