I looked through this forum, where it says to tap the microphone in control center, or to tap the three lines, but I don’t see any microphone or three lines that indicate a microphone in control center. Can someone help, please?
If you want to record Voice Messages in the Messages app, you should not do it from the Control Center. But directly in the Message app. Open a conversation and tap on the marked icon, as in the picture:
Please note that if the person you are sending to does not use iMessages, and you therefore send normal green SMS, you will see this error when you try to record a Voice Message:
Thank you, thank you, thank you!. That’s exactly what I was looking for. I forgot that it was moved during a recent update. It used to be in the same line as where you type text, but now that’s only used for dictation. Thanks again.
