Screen crack MacBook Air M1

Having read so many posts about screen cracks appearing with no impact cannot believe it’s a known fault that apple seem to do nothing about.

I bought my MacBook Air September 2021 and in January I noticed a digital screen crack. My laptop sits at my desk always cased and never dropped . It’s being claimed that the reason my laptop has said screen crack is due to a crumb causing impact . Unbelievable when they’ve said to fix is going to cost £470.

After spending nearly 1k on this laptop for it to longer work after just over a year and being asked to pay nearly £500 is absolutely awful.
