When I answer calls on my MacBook pro they can't hear me.
I use to be able to answer calls on my MacBook pro and have a normal phone conversation. I can still answer the phone call and hear the caller but they cannot hear me. What's the fix?

If you are using the latest Ventura software on you Mac, choose System Settings under the Apple Logo in the menu bar, then Sound.
Check the Input tab has the built-in MacBook microphone and the input volume below that should be in the middle. You can try talking and see if the Input Level recognizes the sound by bouncing around. If you don't see anything moving in the input level when you are talking, it may be a microphone issue. If the input level does bounce around when talking, it could be that FaceTime does not have permission to use the microphone, which is another setting.
