macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
Home Sharing

Use Home Sharing to share media from a computer to other devices - Apple Support

Stream content with Home Sharing on Apple TV - Apple Support

For Home Sharing, activate that feature in the iTunes application (menu File﹥Home Sharing﹥Turn on Home Sharing﹥Enter your Apple ID﹥…﹥Home Sharing is now on [OK])

For Home Sharing, verify that both devices have set the same Apple ID account for Home Sharing, else no suitable shared libraries will be found.

Open the Computers app on Apple TV to find your shared library. This will load compatible media files that have been added to the iTunes library on Mac.
