Google Docs are not loading in Safari

Getting an "Unable to load file" when trying to open any google doc in Safari. Was working fine as of yesterday, and I didn't do any updates or anything.

I'm simply trying to open a Google Doc in Safari. I'm logged into my normal account, I'm the only account holder of the doc. The doc opens into a new tab, then I get the error "Unable to load file" in the doc tab. It tells me to refresh. I do. Same thing.

Anyone know what's going on? Thanks!

Hi Blake Hodges,

We see you've posted an error within Safari who trying to open your Google documents. Since the issue is specific to Safari, let's work through a few steps that could help. First, you mentioned your Safari version is 16.1. There is a newer version within the macOS updates we've recently released. You'll want to update your macOS to the latest version, 13.2.1, which will also update your Safari.

If the issue still persists, try using a private window within Safari to see if that help.
