iPhone calendar crashes when adding location

Have you tried restarting your phone when this happens? Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If you have does the issue come back again after restarting or are you able to add a location then?

Are you able to log into a computer, Mac or PC, and go to iCloud.com and create a calendar event without issues or do you get the same result?

We understand you’re willing to put up with this issue, however, you didn’t mention having completed all of the steps from the article we provided previously. If you have the time and/or inclination to do so, we have one more set of steps for you to try.

Delete built-in Apple apps from the Home Screen on your iOS 14 or later or iPadOS device or Apple Watch - Apple Support -- Since the Calendar app on your iPhone is one of the Apple apps that can be deleted, try deleting the Calendar, restarting your iPhone, then redownloading the app again:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Redownload apps and games from Apple - Apple Support

Sadly your solution does not help. Same error for me on 16.3.1 - using Microsoft Exchange Active Sync Account. Not happening with Caldav configured calendar.

Reinstalling the app / restarting iphone does not help in any way.

Disable Facetime worked for me - don’t ask why 🤷🏻‍♂️

Remove and reinstall the FaceTime app solved the problem for me

Uncheck 24h time in the settings/general/date and time

will fix this calendar crashing bug
