Do you mean verification codes from Apple …

… or SMS-based 2FA codes from “other” web sites.

You might check in Settings -> Messages to ensure that nothing there is amiss or possibly filtering / sorting your inbound SMSs.

Beyond that, you’ll need the assist of your carrier to diagnose your SMS non-delivery.
