How to change Display Number or Desktop-to-Monitor assignment w/ 2 external monitors?

I go back and forth between work and home, with 2 external monitors at each location.

I plug the 2 monitors into my Macbook Pro (2019, Monterey)

In both locations, the external monitor on the right side is always "Main Display" (Sys Pref > Display > Display Settings> Use as) -- I'll call this my "Monitor 1".

The Desktops (#1, 2, 3) I have arranged on it at work are always the same when I get home, and back and forth. (Perfect!)

This leaves my other 2 monitors:

a) the external monitor on the left (Setting: Use as "Extended Display") - Desktops #4, 5, 6 at work (#7, 8, 9 at home)

b) the built in laptop monitor (Setting: Use as "Extended Display") - Desktops #7, 8, 9 at work (#4, 5, 6 at home)

The Desktops on these switch every time I come to go back and forth <-- the problem.

So I slide the desktops from one monitor to the other (a's to b, then b's to a) <-- annoying.

Is there a way I can "train" my MacBook which desktops to put on a monitor when I come back?

I went so far as to create custom images with numbers on them for the desktop background, to be sure I wasn't going crazy.
