My aunt had an old iPod she left it in her draw until I ask if she had an old one an she sent it to me she doesn’t remember the password for the old iCloud account so I can reset the iPod to put my iCloud account on it I don’t own a computer so I need a way to factory reset it without one

iPod version 9.3.5 I've changed BOTH my Apple ID and my password. My iPod is still showing the old ID, AND I do not remember the old password. When I go to Settings on the iPod, the iCloud account still shows the old ID next to my name and the icon. When I tap <name, ID> under iCloud, the next screen shows "Apple ID" and the old ID. When I tap "Contact Information", the next screen shows the icon and my name at the top with the new ID. I cannot sign in to iTunes from the iPod because it's linked to the old ID and old password. I cannot "Sign Out" of the iPod as advised in previous threads, because it wants the old password. I would very much appreciate advice! How can I get my current Apple ID and associated password onto this iPod?

She would need to follow the advice in How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support to regain control of her account, and then follow the steps in What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad (or iPod touch) - Apple Support to prepare the device for you to take it over.
