Can I delete movies and tv shows from my library on Apple TV app?

I have the new iMac book pro operating on 17.0.3 with the new iMovie app. I cannot remove anything from the library. I wish to clear everything out. It’s all clogged up and jammed and it’s interrupting with my ation of my media.

If you want to ‘remove’ a purchased title, then you can hide it. For movies and TV shows, you can (must) do that using a computer (Mac or PC). Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support.

iMovie is an editor, and should not be used as a movie library organizer.

Instead, use the TV app on Mac. Find its Library options in the sidebar on the left.

iMac is very different from a MacBook Pro. Neither has OS 17.0.3. The latest version macOS is 14.1.1.

Mobile devices could be on system software version 17.x, not the computers.
