Apple TV and Sonos Arc - No Atmos?

I just got a Sonos Arc and want to hear Atmos on the thing. I noticed my Apple TV 4K does not have an “immersive sound” setting. The Arc sound bar is connected through the eArc port. And Apple TV through hdmi to the TV. So the set up is correct…

Any ideas on how to get immersive audio from Apple TV?

Atmos sound from apple TV Hi, I need your help. I have connected an apple TV 4k to an older TV that doesn't support Dolby Atmos/vision and in the audio video settings the immersive audio is not showing at all and I think that this is normal. Apple TV 4K 3rd gen does not recognize ARC audio connection from TV I just purchased Apple Tv 4k latest 3rd gen. Downloaded Netflix which prompted to update the Apple TVOS which I did. It updated to the latest TVOS ver 16.3.2. I have Sonos soundbar which is connected to the TV HDMI ARC port. The Apple TV connected to the TV HDMI port. The Audio Output menu list on the Apple TV option DOES NOT show the ARC (Audio Return Channel), instead only has Default Audio Output = set to "TV Speakers" and has Temporary Audio Output = set to nothing. I don't see ARC listed. Appreciate any advice on how to get the ARC activated on the Apple TV in the audio output menu list.

Sonos Arc not playing 5.1 only Atmos I have Sonos Arc Connected to Samsung 2021 The Frame 75" and Apple TV 4K. I am able to play stereo and Dolby Atmos on the Arc, but whenever the output format is 5.1 the Arc goes silent. This applies to all my apps on my Apple TV. If I am not using the Apple TV and only uses the smart functions on my TV i get both Atmos and 5.1 sound. I have therefore concluded that there is something wrong with the Apple TV setup. I get 5.1 sound when I turn off Atmos in the settings on Apple TV, but then I am not getting Atmos on the movies/series that support Atmos. My HDMI cable support 8K, so I dont think it can be the cable either. Does anyone have a quickfix/solution for this problem?

Thank you for your response. Based on the guide, it looks like the Arc and Apple TV are set up properly. Just not getting the option for immersive sound.
