iPhone Maps App Repeatedly Deletes a Favorite Location

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you're running into an issue adding a location to your "Favorites" and we're happy to help. You mentioned this is affecting CarPlay as well. Have you tried adding this location to favorites without being connected to CarPlay? If not, try that with these steps:

1. In the row of Favorites on the search card, tap .

2. If  doesn’t appear, swipe the Favorites row left.

3. Do one of the following:

* Choose a suggestion below the search field.

* Enter a place or address in the search field, then choose a search result.

If this continues when not connected to CarPlay, let us know if this happens with any other location you try to add to favorites. We'll go from there.

Since the issue only happens on 1 device, we know it is not related to the Maps app. However, since it also only happens with one location and not all, we know it is not the app overall. You may want to reach out to Apple Support directly, so you can look further into this issue. They'll be able to offer more help with isolating the cause of this behavior.
