I switched away from AT&T a long time ago and deleted its apps, but lately I have been getting a notification once every day to turn on AT&T Call Protect. How do I remove this constant annoyance? The option to turn it on remains in my settings.

Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification > [Disable what you do not want including ActiveArmor here?]
Settings > Messages > Unknown and Spam > [Do you see AT&T or ActiveArmor here? then disable it.

Go to the App Library (the last page of the Home screen) and search for AT&T. You may have removed it from the Home screen but not from the phone.
No idea about that. Maybe AT&T could help you.
I already did the first suggestion. It’s odd that Call Protect continues to appear as an option.
Unknown and Spam does not appear in Settings > Messages (iOS 16).
